Had the Bioderma micellar for sensitive skin recommended by a dermatologist. I do not have sensitive skin but she said this specific product was superior to all others. My only hang up was the price as this exact product and quantity typically cost around $30 where I live. So I was very happily surprised to find it on Amazon for $19.99 with free next day shipping.
*Important as the follow is largely based on why I wanted a micellar product in the first place* The honest answer in a word is LAZINESS! I’m 46, have 3 kids and a busy life. Come bedtime some nights I just can’t muster the energy to do a whole proper face wash and skin care routine.
Had previously been using the Garnier Micellar water for waterproof makeup. It definitely removes pretty much all traces of makeup but has an oily component that my skin doesn’t like and left a residue on my skin that had an odd texture. You can clearly see the separation line between the micellar and (assuming) oil in the bottle. Meaning that I would still need to do a full face wash and routine. If I had of purchased it in person I never would have purchased this product but since I ordered it from Amazon I couldn’t see the separation in the pictures. However, the Bioderma micellar water does not need to be washed off after using it and does just as good if not better than the Garnier product at removing all makeup, including waterproof without leaving any residue or other crap on my skin.
The other aspect I love is that it makes double cleansing a breeze! First cleanse with the Bioderma like normal and then use water product that works for you as the second or double cleanse. Personally use CeraVe SA daily. Absolutely love this product and its results, plus this product was dermatologist recommended as well!
I’ve tried countless micellar water brands and products (high end to the cheapest) and always thought they were all basically the same…until the Garnier. Luckily I already had an appointment to see the dermatologist and was able to ask about micellar water. She couldn’t say enough positive things about it but clearly stated a few times that it had to be the Bioderma micellar water for sensitive skin with the pink top and print…NOT the blue. She was absolutely spot on correct! It can be much more costly than other similar products, so look around for the best price and you’ll faithfully fall in love with this product too!!
Lastly, the product arrived packaged extremely well, everything sealed showing it’s a brand new product and was delivered exactly when promised

A entrega foi rápida. Chegou embalado apenas dentro de uma caixa, sem fita para evitar o vazamento do produto, por sorte nao vazou, diferente de outro produto que veio junto na caixa e perdi boa parte do conteúdo. A água micelar é otima como demaquilante e deixa a pele hidratada. Foi indicada pelo meu dermatologista.
